Tami Hutchings (Bazil)

After graduating from Stanford University in 1989 with a degree in Human Biology, I remained in California for the next four years. I started a career in pharmaceutical sales with Bristol-Myers Squibb and remained with them for seven years.

As fate would have it, I met my future husband (Warren) in San Francisco while at a medical convention. He, however, was from Georgia. In 1993, I transferred with BMS to Atlanta, GA. Shortly after that, Warren and I married and I moved to Macon, GA where I now reside with my husband and nearly eleven year old twins (Weldon and Sydney).

Warren left his private practice as a family physician slightly more than a year ago. He has been working as the Medical Director of the Student Health Center for Mercer University School of Medicine and recently became a member of their faculty.

I continue to work in the pharmaceutical industry. After seven years with BMS, I went to work for Bayer Corporation. In 2002, I took a position with Novartis Pharmaceuticals and have been employed with them ever since. I have been working for the past three years as an Oncology Sales Specialist.

I was fortunate enough to see and reconnect with many of you at last year’s reunion. For those I did not have the opportunity to see, I hope that you are doing well and that our paths will cross again soon.
