Hello Classmates! I bring you Greetings from Atlanta, Georgia!

I was so disappointed that I missed the Reunion but I was in the middle of relocation. I know a great time was had by all.

Let’s see how quickly I can bring you up to speed…..Sometimes I say the events of my life are the complete opposite of most. I had a daughter, Stacy, during my first year of College (’86). I then finished school and got my degree in Broadcast Journalism from the University of Kansas. Oh, by the way----I was even a cheerleader for the Jayhawk Football Team. Just couldn’t let go of the Cheerleader thing for a while. After graduation I worked for an NBC affiliate in Kansas City. Thinking I was going to be the next Oprah or Katie Couric; I moved back to NY to “land it big”…..well that didn’t happen so I joined Corporate America in the area of Human Resources & Training. I was recruited to join an Organization in Atlanta in 1997 and I’ve been here ever since (with the exception of a one year assignment in NYC in 2005). I am presently the Director of Human Resources & Training for Westin Hotel. I love the industry and the hotel benefits are wonderful!

My daughter is now 21----with a daughter----so that makes me a grandmother. Yes--grandmother. Three years ago I couldn’t believe it. Now that little girl is one of the joys of my life. Life overall, has been very rewarding for me. My pastime is Bowling. For a while I seriously considered going Pro. I literally travel the country bowling in various tournaments.

Not married---never have been. However, I’ve been with my boyfriend for 9 years now; so I feel married. Our home is in Roswell (northern suburb of Atlanta).
